Ventilation is an area of technical consideration that still needs a lot more development because of how much it impacts roofing performance, and the knowledge gaps surrounding it. 

To compare and contrast approaches, we'll have a 'fireside chat' with roofing training experts in Australia, and our RANZ Executive & NZ roofing training duo, Mark Bishop & Paul Stanley-Boden.

The RANZ AGM will be held before the second break, giving delegates the chance to hear from the RANZ Executive and updates on plans for the year ahead.

SARNZ CE, Tina Wieczorek will present an exclusive pre-launch outline of an exciting new height-safety training resource, utilising cutting-edge AI technology. 

Richie Barnett: Engaging our young people and ensuring a bright future for the roofing trade are key topics of relevance for our sector. Sports legend and I Am Hope ambassador, Richie Barnett joins us to share his insights on mentoring and the role of his charity that RANZ is embarking on a strategic partnership with. 

I AM HOPE has one goal - positive societal attitudinal change. We know our youth struggle with distressing self-talk and overthinking, leaving them feeling isolated and alone. When we show them these thoughts are universal, we can give our kids a better life.

Enjoy the village carnival setting at the iconic Sea World location. Along with restaurant dining and beverages, games and musical entertainment will help make it a unique networking event and experience.

9-hole Golf at the PGA Tour's Royal Pines Resort

The Royal Pines Resort conference venue is also a world-renowned golfing destination, having hosted the PGA tour. We will have exclusive use of their 9-hole golf course for Wednesday, enabling two sessions of golfing for delegates to enjoy; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Golf clubs will be available for use. It will be a fun, social game with a 'shotgun' start. We will be joined by our keynote speaker, I Am Hope ambassador and sports star, Richie Barnett.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Explore this iconic Gold Coast Wildlife Sanctuary. Immerse yourself into the wonder and natural beauty of 27 hectares of Currumbin rainforest, wandering through open animal enclosures, feeding kangaroos and cuddling koalas along the way.

Experience the wild lorikeet feeding, free-flight bird shows and Aboriginal performances. See the wonderful vets in action within the Wildlife Hospital precinct. With a huge outdoor themed playground, Wild Island, there is plenty of entertainment for kids to enjoy as they tour the sanctuary on a miniature train.

Step into the heart of the Gold Coast hinterland for a unique experience at our exclusive Hinterland Farm Distillery.
