We are currently on the lookout for excellent, hardworking individuals that have sound roofing experience to become part of our growing team.

 

What we’ll be looking for:

  • Previous roofing experience, including removal of existing roofs, installation of long run iron and flashing installation
  • A positive attitude
  • Effective communication skills
  • Pride of work and high standards of quality
  • Physical fitness, professionalism and a great work ethic
  • Health & safety conscientiousness and knowledge
  • Be able to work well with a team
  • Own transport to get to work
  • Be able to adhere to or Drug & Alcohol policy
  • EWP qualifications and waterproofing experience would be an advantage

COMMERCIAL CONTRACT MANAGER

 

Due to continued growth we are on the search for a Commercial Contract Manager.  We are serious about roofing and pride ourselves on quality and service.  This is a company you can be proud to work with. 

 

This is a full time permanent position, Monday-Friday, the preferred start time for this role is 7.15am.  The successful applicant will be computer-savvy, able to multi-task, have great attention to detail and have a cheerful attitude.


Key responsibilities will be:

  • Reading plans and pricing projects
  • Managing and coordinating several projects undertaken by both internal staff and sub-contractors.
  • Risk and issue management
  • Ensuring projects are delivered and installed to meet client needs and expectations
  • Completing regular checks throughout the installation in order to meet timelines and quality specifications

 

The ideal applicant will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Ability to read plans and have a sound knowledge of roofing codes
  • ‘Can do’ attitude and happy to assist and support the team
  • Dynamic and results orientated
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Sound computer skills
  • Highly developed leadership ability
  • Excellent client liaison and relationship building skills,
  • Resiliency – someone who does not get flustered easily, when dealing with tradies, builders and contractors
  • Roofing background and/or understanding of the construction industry is preferred
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Experience in SIMPRO or similar job scheduling software would be a bonus
